Lester Smith is a family business headed by Mark Smith who is is a member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Between us we have over 40 years experience in the London property industry.
The company was founded in 2000 with the aim of providing professional property investors with a specialist management service as a viable alternative to the high street estate agents, who were not always reaching clients’ expectations in a rapidly evolving and often complex investment market. Success can be measured in our client list which includes Property Investment Companies, Chartered Surveyors, House Builders, Property Developers, Private Trust Funds and other local property professionals.
By adopting a unique “hands on” approach & a “can do” attitude to property management and by listening to the requirements of both our Landlords and our Tenants we have developed a service that fulfils their demands, gives value for money and ensures a smooth running tenancy.

Lester Smith is regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), which places a number of requirements upon us to ensure a high level of service, including the following

Client Money Handling - robust procedures to ensure the security of client money details of our Client Money Handling Procedures can be found here
Complaints Handling Procedure - procedures for dealing with complaints including an Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanism.
Training - procedures to ensure that all staff are trained and competent to do their jobs
Lester Smith is a member of the Property Redress Scheme - an independent estate agents redress scheme approved by the Office of Fair Trading. The Property Address Scheme will investigate complaints that have not been resolved through our internal complaints procedure. The complaints handling procedure will be provided upon request.
